Suggest levels of usage:
0.1-2% depending on desired level of hydration

Sodium Hyaluronate 7 Solution is a blend of 7 molecular weights, ranging from 3000-2,300,000 Daltons. This creates a ready-to-use hyaluronic acid solution with excellent skin hydration properties. The range of Daltons also allows the skin to produce more hyaluronic acid naturally, allowing for deeper hydration and more youthful looking skin. This ingredient has a 1% active level of hyaluronic acid, so a 10% addition to your formula is equal to 0.1% active HA. The suggested levels of usage are only suggestions for average application. You can use this at a much higher rate if you’re looking for a higher level of hydration from the hyaluronic acid.

How to use:
Sodium Hyaluronate 7 Solution is completely water soluble and should be added in the water phase of your formula.
Dissolves easily in both cold and warm water.
Ideal pH range is 4.0-7.0. Adjust using lactic acid or citric acid.
Blends well with glycerin, olive oil squalane, dl-panthenol to boost hydration properties.
Water based formulas:
Dissolve Sodium Hyaluronate 7 into water. You can also use any of our organic hydrosols at this point.
Add glycerin or other water-based humectants and mix until uniform
Add other skin-enhancing ingredients such as Niacinamide, Olive Oil Squalane, dl-Panthenol.
If using a thickener, disperse into the glycerin of formula before adding to water to easily dissolve.
Add preservative and adjust pH if necessary
Oil Based/Emulsified formulas:
Dissolve Sodium Hyaluronate 7 into water. You can also use any of our organic hydrosols at this point.
Add in oil based ingredients. Oils like organic jojoba oil or Oregon grown Hazelnut oil are great to increase hydration without occluding the skin.
Add other skin-enhancing ingredients such as Niacinamide, Olive Oil Squalane, dl-Panthenol.
Incorporate emulsifiers such as emulsifying wax, laurel wax, jojoba esters, cetyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate se, stearic acid, etc. Mix thoroughly,
Add preservative and follow heat regulations for the specific preservative used
Adjust pH if necessary.
Sodium Hyaluronate 7 Solution is temperature sensitive so always mix at or below 50°C/122°F.
Avoid using with high-level acids such as AHA/BHA’s.

Short Term Storage: Air tight container. Dark location. Cool room temperature.
Long Term Storage: Removing air from storage container will delay oxidation and rancidity (may need to place in a smaller container). Refrigeration can extend shelf life.
