dl-Panthenol is a water-soluble vitamin that converts into pantothenic acid (vitamin b5) when absorbed by skin and hair. Panthenol has deep moisturizing, strengthening and soothing properties.
Panthenol works as a conditioning agent, restoring shine and luster to skin and hair. Try adding dl-panthenol to your conditioners and hair masks. This will help tame unruly hair and help repair hair that has been damaged from color treatments and daily heat products.
Panthenol also helps to decrease itchiness and irritation in the scalp. If you’re creating a hair care line, try incorporating dl-panthenol into scalp serums and into hair masks. You could use our Aloe Gel Base, add in Sodium Hyaluronate 7 Solution Hyaluronic Acid (hydration), dl-Panthenol (soothing, strengthening), Niacinamide (boosts keratin production), Organic Argan Oil (emollient), Organic Rosemary Hydrosol (stimulate hair growth, cleansing), Organic Black Seed Oil (helps stimulate hair growth), and a blend of Rosemary (stimulate hair growth), Juniper (balances sebum production, promotes hair growth), and Frankincense (anti-inflammatory, soothes irritated scalps) essential oils. This would help cleanse the scalp and help strengthen and soften the hair follicles.
Panthenol also helps to increase the strength of hair and skin. Panthenol is also an anti-oxidant, helping to protect skin and hair from aging.
